The new release of Element X software is provided with an integrated slicing algorithm suitable for Laser Cladding and WAAM systems. This slicing process has been developed in collaboration with material and mechanical engineers to fit as much as possible the needs of advanced manufacturing.
The main advantage of Element X slicing algorithm is that it has been developed in house by the Elementiam's team and is then fully customizable.
Toolpath generation
Element X slicer offers a large range of parameters and is fully customizable. It is capable of slicing multi-scale geometries in different orientations, limiting the amount of support used during the build.
